Expansion Relays with Delayed Outputs

Expansion Relays with Delayed Outputs

Expansion Relays with Delayed Outputs operate as extensions of a master safety relay. The outputs of the expansion relay mimic the outputs of the master. Delayed outputs are used in applications where power must be maintained for a fixed duration after an input signal is received.

Guardmaster EMD

Bulletin 440R Guardmaster EMD Safety Relay Expansion Modules with Delayed Outputs

Guardmaster® EMD Safety Relay Expansion Module allows the user to easily add 4 N.C. configurable delayed outputs to a system. The single-wire safety connection simplifies cascading and expands safety functions by linking relays with a single wire. Designed to meet the new Functional Safety standards, this relay simplifies purchasing and parts management, and offers key functions to simplify installation and reduce system complexity.

MSR132ED/EDP

Bulletin 440R MSR132ED/EDP Expansion Relays with Delayed Outputs

The Guardmaster® MSR132ED is a delayed-output version of the MSR132E that has off-delayed outputs with a fixed time without the need for an auxiliary supply during the off-delay time. It is a monitoring safety expansion relay unit with single- or dual-channel input and either immediate or timed off-delay outputs. The outputs of the MSR132ED mimic the outputs of the master relay. Note that Guardmaster Safety Relays have been marketed by Rockwell Automation under the trade name "Minotaur" in the past.
