Bulletin 1771 PLC-5® power supplies provide 5V DC to power installed controllers or communication adapters and I/O modules in a 1771 chassis. Both chassis-based and stand-alone power supplies are available. They support a range of AC and DC input voltages. |

1771 Chassis-based Power Supplies
- Require no space outside the I/O chassis
- Provide 5V DC to power to the chassis, up to 8 amps per supply
- Can be paralleled to provide up to 16 A of current per chassis
- Redundant configurations provide failure-proof power of up to 20 amps per chassis
1771 Stand-alone Power Supplies
- Mount along-side the I/O chassis to leave more slots available for other modules
- Provide 5V DC to power to the chassis, up to 16 amps per supply
- Various output current ranges to meet different power supply needs.
- The 1771-PS7 power supply also provides 5V, ±15V, and 24V DC user power
