The Bulletin 1783 Stratix 8000™ Modular Managed Switch line uses the current Cisco® Catalyst® switch architecture and feature set along with powerful configuration tools, helping to provide secure integration with the enterprise network using tools familiar to IT professionals. At the same time, the switches provide easy setup and diagnostics from within the Rockwell Automation Integration Architecture™ using tools familiar to manufacturing professionals.

1783 Stratix 8000™ Modular Managed Base Switches

  • Available in a 6-port or 10-port version
  • Includes two 1 G ports (copper or fiber SFPs)
  • SFP slot supports 100 Mbps and 1 G fiber optic transceivers

1783 Stratix Switch Expansion Modules

  • Each base switch supports up to two expansion modules (maximum of one fiber)
  • Provides switch configurations of up to 26 ports
  • Available with either eight copper 10/100 Mbps ports or eight fiber 100 Base-FX ports with LC connectors

1783 SFP Fiber Optic Uplink Transceivers

  • 100 Mbps and 1 G transceivers
