CENTERLINE® 2500 Motor Control Centers (MCCs) with ArcShield™ help protect your personnel and assemblies against harmful arc flash hazards in the event of an arc flash within an MCC. In combination with the standard safety features built into every CENTERLINE 2500 MCC, ArcShield gives you an additional level of safety. |
Features
- No front ventilation
- Pressure-relief vent system exhausts gases through the top of the enclosure, away from personnel
- Arc-resistant latches on all doors provide pressure relief to keep the door latched to the MCC during an arcing fault
- Insulating covers on horizontal bus closing plates help prevent burn-through from arcing faults in the horizontal bus compartment
- Arc-free zones provide areas within your MCC where it is not possible to apply an ignition wire without destroying the insulation

- IEC 60439-1, IEC 60529, IEC/TR 61641:2008 for arcing durations up to 300 ms, KEMA certified (TTA), GOST-R certified (Russia), ASTA 61439 (Australia), CE conformance marked, CCC conformance marked (China), ABS Certification

- Mains and Feeders — Distributes power through your MCC (Main) or from your MCC to an outside source (Feeder)
- Lighting, Power or Distribution Panels — Lighting and power panel units divide an electrical power feed into single, two-phase or three-phase branch circuit breakers. Lighting panels come with either main lug or main circuit breakers. Power panels come with main circuit breakers which are directly fed from the MCC bus system.
