1791 CompactBlock I/O In-Cabinet Block

Bulletin 1791D CompactBlock™ I/O can be distributed throughout your plant for heavy-duty applications, especially where space is limited. Base blocks include I/O points and a built-in DeviceNet™ network communication adapter. Digital and analog I/O expansion blocks provide the flexibility to add I/O points to your CompactBlock I/O system. Integrated DeviceLogix™ Smart Component Technology provides low-cost logic solving capability in your I/O for faster sense-to-actuation times.

  • Compact size for installation in shallow cabinets, operator workstations, and wireways
  • 24V DC IEC/NEMA Type 3+ inputs on digital blocks
  • Electronically protected outputs on digital blocks
  • Supports connection of an expansion block to your base block to expand I/O count up to 32 points per assembly
  • Rotary switches and autobaud rate detection ease commissioning
  • Removable screw-clamp terminal strips make it easy to replace an I/O block without rewiring
