  • PowerCage™ inverter and rectifier modules allow SGCT replacement in under ten minutes
  • Configuration and programming via integral LCD keypad, DriveTools™ SP software, or Drive Explorer™ software
  • Premier Integration with PowerFlex® AC drives uses the Logix control platform to simplify parameter and tag programming and reduces development time

Air-Cooled Drives

  • 200…5500 Hp
  • Simple but rugged, minimum component count, optimum reliability

Liquid-Cooled Drives

  • 3000…8500 Hp
  • Drastically reduces control room air conditioning costs by removing 90% of the heat via a heat exchanger
  • Supports higher elevations and ambient temperatures than air-cooled drives

Extended Hp Drives

  • Up to 34,000 Hp
  • Modular system lets you add drives—up to four drive modules in one system—until the drive power matches the application requirements
  • Suitable for hot back-up applications with an option for control redundancy
  • Uses a hub module and ControlLogix™ processors to coordinate the modular drive system

PowerFlex 7000 Medium Voltage Drives with Safe Torque Off

PowerFlex 7000 Medium Voltage Drives with Safe Torque Off

Medium-voltage-drive users can now help keep operations running and provide a safer work environment with certified safe torque off technology. The PowerFlex® 7000 Safe Torque Off feature removes rotational power from the motor when a safety command is received. The drive remains in a “safe state” and prevents the motor from an unexpected restart by not allowing any torque to be generated in the motor. The PowerFlex 7000 can be successfully included in applications where the highest functional safety level must be achieved.

  • Available in PowerFlex 7000 A, B, C frames, liquid or air-cooled medium voltage drives
  • Available in Direct-to-Drive™ and Active Front End (AFE) Pulse Width Modulator (PWM) rectifier drive configurations
  • Fulfills top functional safety requirements for Safety Integrity Level (SIL) of 3, Performance Level e, and Category 3
