PowerFlex 7000 Medium Voltage AC Drives

PowerFlex® 7000 Drives are air-cooled or liquid-cooled drives available in a broad power range of 200…34000 Hp and supply voltages of 2400…6600V AC. These general purpose, stand-alone drives control speed, torque, direction, starting, and stopping of standard asynchronous or synchronous AC motors.

  • Configuration and programming via integral LCD keypad, DriveTools™ SP software, or Drive Explorer™ software

  • Modular system lets you add drives—up to four drive modules in one system—until the drive power matches the application requirements
  • Suitable for hot back-up applications with an option for control redundancy
  • Uses a hub module and ControlLogix™ processors to coordinate the modular drive system

PowerFlex 7000 Now Offers TorqProve Control Capabilities

PowerFlex® 7000 Medium Voltage AC drives now offer the option for enhanced torque control capabilities with TorqProve control. Ideal for heavy industry applications, such as hoists, drag lines, winches and teststands, the PowerFlex 7000 can now deliver 100% torque at zero speed. This new capability helps to control torque around zero speed and provide a higher drive speed and torque response required for these applications. This feature is a firmware option available in any configuration of a PowerFlex 7000 AC drive.
