Our dynamic measurement modules perform sophisticated real-time measurements of dynamic signals such as vibration, pressure, and strain. The modules perform complex Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) processing of signals and measure the frequency components of the resulting spectra. These FFT-based measures are configured to provide diagnostic information such as specific faults. When you are aware of faults and monitor them as they propagate, you can plan maintenance activities to minimize their impact on production and on machine repair costs.
![]() | The XM® 120 Standard Dynamic Measurement Modules are general-purpose monitors. They are suited for monitoring shaft, casing, or pedestal vibration in rotating equipment that have operating speeds greater than 700 RPM. |
![]() | The XM® 121 Low Frequency Dynamic Measurement Modules are general-purpose monitors. They are designed for low-frequency applications such as cooling tower fans, hydro turbines, and other types of low-speed, rotating machinery. They are suited for monitoring shaft, casing, or pedestal vibration in rotating equipment. |

![]() | The 1440-DYN02-01RJ Dynamic Measurement Module is a two-channel, general purpose monitor that supports measurements of dynamic inputs such as vibration, pressure, and strain on rotating equipment. The module is designed for integration with ControlLogix® controllers connected through a 1440-ACNR ControlNet™ adapter. |
![]() | The 1440-ACNR ControlNet™ Adapter bridges an XM® bus network and a ControlNet network. The adapter provides for the transparent linking and management of 1440-DYN02-01RJ Dynamic Measurement Modules by any Logix controller connected to the ControlNet network. |
